Enhance your skills with CDS

Throughout the year, the Chicago Dental Society organizes a variety of educational programs for its members and the dental community at large. Our programs feature respected leaders in dental continuing education who present engaging and informative lectures. Many of our educational events are free to CDS members.

Our world-class dental meeting is held annually in February at Chicago's McCormick Place West. It features three days of continuing education, including hands-on participation courses and live televised patient demonstrations. Free registration is offered to CDS members. Many courses are offered at no charge.

Regional Meetings are held three times a year at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. CDS members and their staffs may attend for free.

Our nine branches host meetings that offer CDS members the chance to network and obtain CE with colleagues in their communities.

During the year we offer webinars on a variety of topics. The recordings of the webinar will be available for up to one year only for those who register in advance.

Purchase recorded lectures from past Midwinter Meetings and Regional Meetings.

Insurance Plans for Members

CDS sponsors a range of insurance plans for its members and their families, including:
  • Disability and Business Overhead Expense Insurance
  • Long-Term Care Insurance
  • Workers Compensation Insurance

Disability income insurance is a unique coverage that protects your earned income and retirement benefits should you become disabled as the result of sickness or injury.

You’ve worked your career building a retirement nest egg and possibly an estate for your heirs. Unfortunately, an extended need for home healthcare services or a nursing home stay can dramatically reduce any savings you may have accumulated.

Workers compensation insurance serves two purposes: It assures that injured workers get medical care and compensation for a portion of the income they lose while they are unable to return to work and it usually protects employers from lawsuits by workers injured while working.
